Update Registration


To update an address:

- Within Walton County: 

If updating your record to a Walton County address, call our office at 850-892-8112, or follow the instructions on the Florida Online Voter Registration Website.

- To another Florida county: 

If you are updating your address from Walton County to another county in Florida, follow the instructions on the Florida Online Voter Registration Website, or if you wish to update your address over the phone, contact the county where your new address is located.

- Outside of Florida: 

Contact the state or jurisdiction where you have moved. Please notify them of your prior registration in Florida. To update party affiliation, name, or signature:

NOTE: Changing your party affiliation after the book closing deadline prior to the election will not take effect until after Election Day.

For a signature update to be used for signature comparison, it must be received prior to receiving the item with the signature that is being compared. Applications can be submitted online, by mail, or in-person to one of our offices. (F.S. 98.077(3))

To request a replacement voter information card:

NOTE: The voter information card is NOT required for voter ID at the polls. It is for your information only. Some of the information on the voter information card can also be obtained online by looking up your voter information. Here is the list of acceptable IDs to vote
